3 Pooches has been providing pet care to the Winston Salem area since 2007. We expanded to include Greensboro and Winston Salem surrounding areas in 2010. The business has been a family-owned business since the beginning and we pride ourselves on treating all pets we care for like one of our family. Our Doggy Adventures concept was the first of its kind in the Triad region and we also have our very own handmade collar and doggie goods company, 3 Pooches Unique Doggie Goods. 3 Pooches is insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC.
The Owners
The mother and daughter team of Ann and Whitney Long created 3 Pooches because of their love for animals and their desire to work with them every day. The business is named after 3 of their own dogs and they also appear in the logo. They now each have 2 dogs of their own - Ann has 8-year-old Bogie, a black pug; and 5-year-old Lilo, a shih tzu; while Whitney has 8-year-old Jinx, an australian kelpie/corgi mix; and 3-year-old Wrigley, a dark yellow lab. They are both trained in Pet First Aid. Ann is a sitter and midday walker in Winston Salem and surrounding areas, while Whitney is a sitter and midday walker/jogger for Greensboro and parts of Winston, while also running the Doggy Adventures.

Wrigley is still active with 3 Pooches and works with the Medium/Large Adventure group, both in being an evaluator and a fellow Adventurer. He also accompanies Whitney on dog walks that request a companion walker.
